pink Floyd’s ‘Dark side of the moon’: music catalog

This publishing assignment was to create a music catalog for a music legend in a historical design style. I chose to portray Pink Floyd, specifically their album ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ in the style of the Arts and Craft movement. This pairing was an interesting way to portray the themes of the album, and the psychedelic spirit of Pink Floyd's music in an unexpected way. I drew inspiration from William Morris's publications, typography, and patterns to create original illustrations and drop capitals that blend the Arts and Craft movement and elements of ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ to create a unified catalog that celebrates the influential album.
